Located next to the famous Wang Lao Ji Herbal Tea Museum is a local eye care clinic. Advanced Eye Physician opened in 1996. Dr. Nancy Tsai, the owner, immigrated from China and completed medical school at New York Medical College. She originally had no intention of opening her own private practice. However, when the opportunity came, Dr. Tsai took it and has served the local Chinatown community ever since!

Dr. Tsai’s practice focuses on providing high-quality patient care. She believes the most rewarding aspect of her job is helping her patients, especially the local Chinatown community. Some patients cannot get extensive care at other institutions due to the language barrier. Dr. Tsai speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Fuzhounese, and Spanish. With four operating rooms and three doctors, this boutique clinic uses new technology such as Intense Pulse Light therapy and ResurFX technology to treat dry eyes. 👀
