Kwan’s Burger & Pizza is opened by Josh and Kwan, the ultimate duo of Manhattan's Chinatown! Their goal is to bring quality hotel-style fusion food to Chinatown. They are the first fusion Burger and Pizza business in Chinatown, with options like Lobster Pizza, Peking Duck Pizza, and staples such as Chicken Wings and Tenders.

Josh always loved food, and it was because of his mother. His mother inspired him to begin his career in the food service industry. Growing up, he learned his cooking from his mother when preparing food for family events. His love for cooking grew, and he even opened a restaurant in Westchester, New York, at one point. When the opportunity came for Josh to work at a very prestigious hotel as a seasonal worker, he worked hard and was hired full-time.

Kwan lived in Chinatown for over a decade. He immigrated from Hong Kong in 1979. He worked previously as a security officer at a jewelry store and manager at a huge parking lot in Hong Kong. After moving to New York, Kwan started to learn English and even took a chef training course in Chinatown. He is known for his fruit sculpting technique, and even the CEO of the hotel specifically requested to hire him.

Together, Josh and Kwan are dynamic duos like Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. They have a strong foundation and work exceptionally well together. After losing their jobs at the hotel during the pandemic, they decided to open their own business. There are so many opportunities in life but very few to work with a friend. The business has been slow during the pandemic, and it is not easy to compete with commercial restaurants. Regardless of the circumstances, they believe in providing the best quality ingredients to their customers.
