Celebrate National Dumpling Day (September 26) with Mott Street Girls x Send Chinatown Love as we tour some of Chinatown's most delicious dumplings. Explore the varieties of dumplings Chinatown has to offer, indulging in savory and sweet treats from hole-in-the-walls to popular restaurants.
We begin our tour with a sweet treat at a neighborhood favorite. Next, we'll stop at a third-generation owned wonton noodle shop popular with locals and tourists alike. We'll then head to one of Chinatown's last old-school cafes serving inexpensive dim sum and Cantonese comfort food for over six decades. We'll then head to a small but popular dumpling shop off the beaten path. Our final stop is a hand-pulled noodle restaurant in Little Fuzhou, representing one of Chinatown's newer diasporas.
Most merchants on this tour are local Asian-owned businesses supported by the Send Chinatown Love nonprofit.
